I've always had a penchant for tinkering around Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I haven't received any formal instruction or anything and everything I know about it, I learned myself or from online tuts. Lately, I've been receiving quite a number of commissions for posters and such.
I've been doing this on the side for a while now but it's not something I do on a regular basis. Usually only when friends ask for a poster or some other publicity material for an event or shindig. I don't get paid for this but a few days ago a friend asked me why I don't charge people for the work that I do. It got me thinking, "why not?!"

This idea is VERY new, it's not even 5 minutes old as of this post. But it is something that I am really interested to pursue and look into. So for now, I'm going to start putting up my designs and some of my previous commissions... a design portfolio of sorts. Maybe someday, once I get this thing off the ground and it's not just an idea anymore, I can even make a buck or two out of it.
