Who is the GEEK without the K?
Gee Rabacca is your extraordinarily average 20-year-old. Originally, GEEK without the K was published as part of her book blog called Between the Pages, something akin to a personal page about her as the owner of the book blog. But then she thought it would work better as a stand-alone blog, one that she could really dedicate to the GEEK without the K. It made more sense to keep the two separate just so the other blog can also be more focused on books and reviews without adding the drama of her life into it. As she kept on blogging, it evolved into more than just a random collection of her thoughts and musings. It is where she jotted down some of the most poignant experiences of her last year in college and internship. And then, as she started going on more trips, GEEK without the K also became her platform for sharing her adventures and escapades anywhere and everywhere.
Gee Rabacca graduated from the University of the Philippines-Manila with a baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy. Rehabilitation may be a far-cry from blogging but even from a very young age, reading and writing has always been among her passions in life and she continues to do so through various online platforms. Gee Rabacca has also been published in Thought Catalog (albeit, under a pseudonym).
Currently, Gee is off gallivanting anywhere and everywhere, in between preparations for the occupational therapists licensure examinations this February 2016. She thanks you for dropping by her blog today and hope you find whatever it is you're looking for, and then some.

About me. Hmmm, I hate writing this part because I never know where to start. Let's just give this a shot, shall we?
- I'm a Filipina, born and bred.
- I love writing. I have notebooks filled with random scenes and stories I see in my head.
- I like reading. Mostly NA novels currently but I also read YA, Contemporary, Thrillers, Romance, Chick Lit, Graphic Novels
- I'm also a bit of a comic book fan. I don't get to read comic books as much as novels because it's very hard to come by issues.
- I'm a movie buff. I enjoy watching films a lot and I have very varied tastes in movies.
- I'm a total sucker for indie books/authors AND music!
- I think Marvel can beat DC any day of the week.
- I have a younger brother who's also a gaming blogger. He's the one who got me playing in the first place although I'm nowhere near as good as he is.
- I'm a couch potato. I can stay home to watch TV all day if I could.
- At the same time, I'm also in constant wanderlust. I'd go anywhere and everywhere.
- I'm a walking contradiction (^ case in point).
- My favorite colors are teal, coral, and lime green.
- Forget love, I'd rather fall in chocolate. Seriously. Chocoholic right here BUT, I hate chocolate with nuts and/or fruits in it. Blech! Meaning: I don't like Nutella. I hear gasps in the audience!
- I drink coffee like it's water. I love it! I think I've already grown immune to the effects of caffeine because I drink coffee so much.
- I collect stationery! Notebooks, notepads, writing pads, pens, etc.
- When I was a kid I wanted to be a doctor, an engineer, an architect, a fashion designer, a nurse, an artist (the painting/drawing kind, not the acting kind), an olympic athlete, and a children's author.
