After 4237736518 years, I finally got to watch Inside Out last week. Yay, me! My only regret is in not watching it sooner (which couldn't be helped since I've been gallivanting everywhere since August 16 and the movie premiered here in the PH on the 17th). Disney and Pixar really produced another MASSIVE hit with this latest release. There are hundreds of reviews out there about the movie, all written by people more qualified than I am to critic this movie. So, I'm not here to review it or anything. But I did want to share the TOP 5 REASONS why INSIDE OUT played on my heartstrings and turned me inside out.

It's amazing how my favorite books are going to be movies soon!

Upcoming book to movie adaptations: 

First, THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES (which would premiere here in the PH next week, by the way!)
Then there's THE FAULT IN OUR STARS. It's slated to be released by next year.

and of course

VAMPIRE ACADEMY: BLOOD SISTERS which will premiere on February 14th! :)
And because I am sooooo excited to see Richelle Mead's VA series come to life on the big screen, I'm excited to share with you guys the official trailer!

Can you just see how awesome it's going to be?!?! Well, I hope it's going to be awesome. From the looks of it, VA:BS would be amazing. 

If you haven't read the books but you think this trailer was awesome, do try to read the books! They're phenomenal. I fell in love with the characters, the world, the lore, practically everything that's got anything to do with Vampire Academy :))

Something really exciting happened this past week after all.
I found out yesterday that they've finally casted ANSEL ELGORT to play my dear, dear Augustus "Gus" Waters from John Green's epic novel, The Fault In Our Stars.

If you know me at all, you'd know that I absolutely LOVE that book so I'm really excited that they've picked out a guy to play Gus.

IMHO, he looks the part. He fits the picture I have in mind about how I imagined Gus would look like. I just hope this guy could act the part, as well, TFiOS was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride for me. Hope ANSEL ELGORT can pull off the complexity, the funniness, the desperation, the hope... the love that is AUGUSTUS WATERS. 

ANSEL ELGORT by the way will also play CALEB PRIOR in the upcoming DIVERGENT movie. CALEB is TRIS PRIOR's brother in the books. TRIS will be played by SHAILENE WOODLEY, who will also be playing HAZEL GRACE in TFiOS! Amazing, right?

Anyway. I can't wait to see the movie when it comes out (hopefully) in 2014.
